The DiepCity actress took to her timeline on Monday to give her followers a glimpse into her umembeso celebrations — a Nguni gift-giving and post-lobola tradition where the groom’s family presents blankets, clothes and household gifts to the bride’s family.

“About Last Week. Officially a Pedi wife. It was beautiful,” Luyanda wrote, reflecting on her special day.

View this post on Instagram Luyanda first revealed that her partner, Thapelo, asked for her hand in marriage in June when she shared pictures showcasing her ring with the caption:

“I’d say yes time and time again, Love you KK.”

In August, Luyanda shared more pictures and videos from her lobola celebrations.

“Becoming Mrs M,” she captioned the post.
