‘Give Regina Daniels Breathing Space’: Ned Nwoko Makes Emotional Appeal to Nigerians Over Her Health

According to a report by Daily Post on Tuesday November 03, 2026, Delta North Senator Ned Nwoko has appealed to Nigerians, social media users, bloggers and fans of his estranged wife, Nollywood actress Regina Daniels, to stop spreading false reports about her and allow her time and privacy to recover from her health challenges.

Nwoko made the appeal in a statement published on his Instagram page on Monday, expressing concern over the circulation of misleading information about the actress amid their ongoing marital dispute.

The lawmaker specifically condemned reports claiming that Regina had died, describing such announcements and other stories about her medical condition as fabricated and harmful.

“I want to make a sincere appeal to the public, particularly Regina’s fans, friends, bloggers and social media commentators, to please give Regina some breathing space,” he said.

According to Nwoko, his request is motivated not only by concern for Regina’s wellbeing but also by the interests of their children, who deserve to see their mother receive encouragement, affection and the necessary support to recover.

He also noted that the actress had endured significant difficulties and needed compassion rather than public criticism or judgement.

Regina recently shared a video of herself sitting in a wheelchair, in which she spoke about her health struggles, drawing attention to her condition.

Nwoko warned that he would not tolerate the circulation of false information concerning her health or private affairs, urging the public to exercise restraint when discussing the actress.

The appeal comes against the backdrop of the couple’s highly publicised marital crisis, which became public in October 2025 after Regina reportedly left their matrimonial home. Their relationship has since remained a subject of widespread discussion on social media.
