Eastleigh Building Collapse: MP Yusuf Hassan Reveals What May Have Happened to Those Still Trapped

The search for survivors following the collapse of a building in Eastleigh, Nairobi, has taken a worrying turn after Kamukunji Member of Parliament Yusuf Hassan made fresh claims about the people still trapped beneath the rubble.

The tragedy, which has now entered its 12th day, continues to raise questions about the rescue operation and the possibility of finding survivors.

According to the information released by the government, 11 people are still believed to be trapped beneath the remains of the collapsed building. Rescue teams have continued working at the scene as families wait anxiously for updates about their missing relatives.

However, MP Yusuf Hassan has now made a disturbing revelation that has raised fresh concerns about the situation.

The legislator reportedly stated that all the people still trapped beneath the rubble are dead. His remarks have added another difficult dimension to an already painful incident.

Hassan also questioned how the government has handled the rescue operation, raising concerns about the time taken and the progress made since the building came down.

For families whose loved ones remain missing, the situation has been particularly difficult. Many are still waiting for clear answers about what happened and whether the rescue teams will recover those who remain beneath the debris.

The incident has also renewed public attention on building safety in Nairobi, particularly in areas where construction continues to expand.

As the operation enters another day, Kenyans will be looking to the relevant authorities for clear information about the missing people and the steps being taken to conclude the rescue mission.

The difference between the government’s latest update and the MP’s claims has left many questions unanswered.
