Ned Nwoko warns against spreading false reports about Regina Daniels

Nigerian politician Ned Nwoko has cautioned bloggers and social media users against circulating false reports about his estranged wife, Nollywood actress Regina Daniels, particularly fabricated stories concerning her death and personal circumstances.

In a lengthy statement shared on his official Instagram page, the Delta State politician appealed to Regina’s fans, friends and members of the public to give her some privacy and allow her time to recover.

Ned explained that his appeal was not solely for Regina’s sake but also for their children, who deserve to see their mother receive love, support and understanding.

According to him, Regina has experienced challenges that many people may not fully understand, making compassion more important than public criticism at this time.

He also referred to a video she shared on her 25th birthday in October, saying it offered a glimpse into some of the health challenges she had been facing.

Despite the difficulties in their relationship, Ned maintained that Regina’s well-being remained important to him.

He further expressed concern about fabricated death announcements and other misleading publications about her, noting that such reports could cause her additional distress.

The politician warned those responsible to stop spreading false information, adding that publications of this nature were being documented for possible legal action.

He also appealed to Regina’s supporters to discourage the circulation of such content rather than contribute to its spread.

Meanwhile, Regina’s family and relationship with Ned have continued to attract public attention.

On her 25th birthday in October, her mother, Rita Daniels, celebrated her with an emotional tribute, describing her as her pride and a queen while expressing admiration for the woman she has become.
