Kogi man who went viral for marrying two wives the same day passes away (videos)

A Kogi man whose marriage ceremony went viral after he married two wives on the same day has passed away.

It was gathered that Jamiu, popularly known as Pharmacist, passed away on Friday, October 30, 2026 in Okengwe Ehi community. 

One MC Ajina, who confirmed the news also shared a video from Jamiu’s funeral.

“A PAINFUL GOODBYE TO A PROMISING SOUL. IN LOVING MEMORY OF LATE JAMIU (PHARMACIST) It is with a heavy heart and profound sadness that we mourn the sudden departure of a promising young man, Jamiu, who passed away in the late hours of Friday, 31st October, 2026, at Okengwe Ehi,” he wrote.

“Your death is a painful reminder that life is indeed temporary. You were a young man with a bright future, great hopes and dreams yet to be fulfilled. It is heartbreaking that death has taken you away when life still had so much to offer.

“Jamiu, your departure has left a vacuum in the hearts of family, friends and everyone who knew you. Words cannot adequately express the pain of losing someone so young and full of promise.

“Though you are no longer with us physically, your memory will forever remain in our hearts. We pray that Almighty Allah forgives your shortcomings, grants you Aljanah Firdaus and gives your family, friends and loved ones the strength to bear this irreplaceable loss.

“Rest peacefully, Jamiu.Indeed, death is inevitable, but losing a promising young soul is always heartbreaking. INNA LILLAHI WA INNA ILAIHI RAJI’UN. May Allah grant you eternal rest. Ameen.”
