BENIN – Edo Governor, Senator Monday Okpebholo has commenced the construction of a proposed ultra-modern General Hospital in Iguobazuwa, headquarters of Ovia South-West Local Government Area, to improve access to quality healthcare in the state.
The project, designed to provide modern secondary healthcare services, is expected to serve residents of Ovia Federal Constituency and neighbouring communities.

According to a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr Friday Aghedo, the deputy governor described the project as a strategic investment in the health and wellbeing of the people.

According to him, the facility is designed to meet the secondary healthcare needs of the constituency and serve as a referral centre for surrounding communities.
