“Looking Good Mzee” Kenyans Gush Over Oburu Oginga After New Photos From His Nairobi Home Surface

ODM party leader Oburu Oginga has welcomed another political visitor to his Nairobi residence, with their meeting drawing attention amid continued public interest in his wellbeing.

Alego Usonga MP Samuel Atandi shared photographs of his encounter with the veteran politician on Sunday, November 1, giving Kenyans another glimpse of the Siaya senator as he continues spending time at home.

Atandi used the visit to discuss matters concerning the Orange Democratic Movement, particularly the party’s activities in Siaya County and its preparations for the 2027 General Election.

In his account of the meeting, the legislator highlighted the need to strengthen the party’s organisation at the grassroots level. He also pointed to the importance of bringing members together as ODM works towards its next political campaign.

The meeting was therefore an opportunity for the two leaders to exchange views on the party’s future and its position in the region.

However, the photographs attracted interest beyond the political discussions, largely because Kenyans have been keen to follow Oburu’s progress since his recent hospitalisation.

The ODM leader was discharged from Nairobi Hospital on October 19 after receiving treatment. Since returning home, several political leaders and members of his family have visited him, with some sharing pictures from their meetings.

Homa Bay Governor Gladys Wanga was among those who recently visited the veteran politician. She described him as strong and in high spirits following their October 29 meeting.

Oburu also attracted attention after his nephew, Raila Odinga Junior, shared a photograph of them together at home.

These visits have provided occasional public updates about the politician, although the pictures alone do not reveal details about his medical condition.

For now, Atandi’s latest visit has added to the growing number of public appearances shared from Oburu’s residence as supporters continue wishing him well.

Many Kenyans will be watching for further updates as the veteran politician continues his recovery and remains an important figure in ODM’s leadership.
