In Less Than 2 Years NDC Members Without Salary Have Built Mansions At Adenta And North Legon

NPP Director of Communications Dennis Miracles Aboagye has alleged that some members of the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC) have built expensive mansions in Accra within less than two years of the party returning to power, despite having no formal salaries.Ghanaian Citizen TV report (31 October 2026); coverage by Ghanamma.com.

Speaking on Ghanaian Citizen TV on Saturday, 31 October 2026, Aboagye said the properties are located in high-end areas including Adenta Aviation and North Legon.

“In less than 2 years, NDC members without salary have built mansions at Adenta Aviation and North Legon. We have your pictures,” he stated.

He claimed the NPP is in possession of photographs of the houses but did not name the individuals involved or provide further details about the value of the properties or how they were financed.

The comments form part of ongoing political exchanges between the two major parties over unexplained wealth and public accountability. Similar accusations have been traded by both sides in recent months as questions about the lifestyles of political actors remain a recurring theme in national discourse.

Aboagye’s remarks are expected to draw responses from the NDC, particularly if the photographs are eventually made public and the persons concerned are identified. As of the time of the broadcast, no official reply had been issued by the ruling party.

The allegation comes at a time when issues of transparency and the rapid accumulation of assets by people linked to political power continue to attract public attention in Ghana.
