Gachagua’s Message to Mt Kenya Elders Over Reconciling Him With Uhuru

Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has come out and sent a message to Mt Kenya elders.

Speaking today at a Church Service, Rigathi Gachagua advised Mt Kenya elders against trying to reconcile him with Former President Uhuru Kenyatta.

According to the DCP boss, there is no need to reconcile him with Uhuru Kenyatta as they are already working together. Gachagua in his message openly said that he is currently working with Uhuru Kenyatta behind the scenes.

Hence he urged the Mt Kenya elders to stop trying to reconcile him with Uhuru Kenyatta. Instead, Gachagua advised the elders to help him unite Mt Kenya region ahead of next year’s general elections.

“Please, elders, don’t reconcile Uhuru Kenyatta and Gachagua because there is no need for reconciliation, as we are already working together. Elders, help me unite the Mountain. That is the role of elders” Rigathi Gachagua said.

Rigathi Gachagua and Uhuru Kenyatta were political foes ahead of the 2022 general elections, with Gachagua being on record fiercely criticizing Uhuru Kenyatta. However, after Gachagua fell out with Ruto he toned down on his attacks against Uhuru Kenyatta and has been at the forefront defending him. He has now advised Mt Kenya elders to stop trying to reconcile him with Uhuru Kenyatta as they are currently working together.
