EXPOSED: Why Dorita’s Son Is Among 6 Suspects Arrested After Her Brutal Murder at Her Nairobi Home

Fresh details have emerged explaining why one of Dorita Macharia’s sons is among six people arrested following the death of the 86-year-old businesswoman at her Loresho residence in Nairobi.

Macharia died on Friday, October 30, after she was allegedly attacked inside her home. Her death prompted police officers from Gigiri to begin investigations to establish the events that led to the tragedy.

According to the family’s lawyer, Senior Counsel Philip Murgor, the elderly woman’s body was discovered inside her house with visible injuries.

He also revealed that blood was found within the premises, raising suspicion that she had been assaulted before her death.

Following the discovery, police took six people into custody to assist with investigations. The suspects are currently being held at Gigiri Police Station as detectives seek to establish what happened.

Among those arrested is one of Macharia’s sons, who was reportedly found at the family residence when the incident came to light. His presence at the premises is among the details surrounding his arrest.

However, police have not disclosed his exact involvement in the case, and no court has established that he participated in the alleged attack. Two other suspects are also reportedly close relatives of the deceased, meaning that several people being questioned have family ties with Macharia.

Speaking to Citizen TV, Murgor said the injuries on the woman’s body and the blood found inside the house raised serious concerns about the circumstances of her death. He indicated that the scene did not suggest that she had died from natural causes.

The six suspects are expected to be presented before a court on Monday, November 2, as investigations continue.

Detectives are now working to establish what happened inside the Loresho residence, who was responsible for the alleged attack and whether those arrested had any connection to the businesswoman’s death.
