Citizen TV’s Linus Kaikai Attracts Attention After Reported Appearance With Farouk Kibet in Kilgoris

Citizen TV journalist Linus Kaikai has attracted attention after reportedly appearing alongside President William Ruto’s close associate, Farouk Kibet, during a church service in Kilgoris, Narok County.

The appearance has generated discussions among Kenyans, with many interested in the gathering because of the prominent public positions held by the two individuals.

Kaikai is a well-known journalist who serves as Citizen TV’s Director of Strategy and Innovation. He has built a strong reputation in Kenya’s media industry through political interviews, current affairs discussions and coverage of important national events.

Over the years, he has become one of the recognisable faces in political journalism, regularly engaging influential leaders on issues affecting the country.

Farouk Kibet, on the other hand, is widely recognised as a close associate of President Ruto and an influential figure within the Head of State’s political circles.

He has frequently participated in grassroots engagements, public gatherings and political activities supporting the current administration.

Their reported encounter at the Kilgoris church service comes at a time when Kenya’s political environment is gradually becoming more active ahead of the 2027 General Election.

Leaders allied to President Ruto have continued engaging communities across different parts of the country as political groups begin positioning themselves for the next electoral contest.

Meanwhile, opposition leaders have also intensified their activities, seeking to strengthen alliances and challenge the government’s record.

Kaikai’s presence at the religious gathering has consequently attracted curiosity, particularly given his influential role in the media industry.

However, attending the same church service as a political figure does not necessarily indicate political support or allegiance.

The gathering demonstrates how religious events can bring together prominent individuals from different professional backgrounds, creating opportunities for interaction outside their usual public responsibilities.
