They Said No, But Pitso Said Yes: Radebe Breaks Silence On Dramatic Bafana Bafana Breakthrough

Radebe Breaks Silence After Earning Bafana Bafana Recognition – AmaZulu Star Thanks Teammates

AmaZulu FC defender Nkosikhona Radebe has expressed his heartfelt gratitude to his teammates, coaches and everyone at the club following his inclusion in Bafana Bafana’s preliminary squad under newly appointed head coach Pitso Mosimane.

The talented right-back has received a significant boost to his career after being recognised for his performances in the Betway Premiership. His inclusion represents an important milestone for the 25-year-old, who has continued working hard to establish himself as one of the promising defenders in South African football.

Radebe was among the players selected by Mosimane as the experienced tactician began assembling his squad for South Africa’s upcoming international assignments.

Rather than taking all the credit for the achievement, the AmaZulu star acknowledged the important role played by those around him, particularly his teammates and the technical team, in helping him reach this stage of his career.

His appreciation highlights the collective effort behind individual success, with the defender recognising that the support and guidance he receives at club level have contributed significantly to his development.

Radebe’s Hard Work Earns National Recognition

The AmaZulu defender has been an important figure for Usuthu, demonstrating his ability to contribute both defensively and offensively.

His energy, pace and willingness to support attacking movements have made him an interesting option in the right-back position.

Under head coach Arthur Zwane, Radebe has continued working towards improving his consistency and overall contribution to the team.

Zwane has previously spoken positively about the defender’s natural ability, highlighting his explosive pace, decision-making and potential to become one of the country’s top players.

The Bafana Bafana recognition therefore represents an encouraging reward for the progress he has made.

Competition For Places In Mosimane’s Squad

However, earning a place in the preliminary squad is only the beginning of the challenge for Radebe.

With several established defenders competing for positions, the AmaZulu player will need to maintain his impressive performances if he hopes to secure a place in Mosimane’s final selection.

The national team opportunity also provides him with a platform to demonstrate his qualities against some of the best players in the country.

For AmaZulu, having a player recognised at national level is another positive development and reflects the importance of producing performances that attract attention beyond club football.

Radebe will now be hoping to build on this achievement, continue delivering for Usuthu and turn his preliminary recognition into a permanent place in the Bafana Bafana setup.

His message of gratitude also underlines an important reality: individual recognition in football is often the product of collective effort.
