Obi takes campaign to Niger Delta creeks

As political parties kick off campaigns across Nigeria ahead of the 2027 general election, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) presidential candidate, Peter Obi, has taken his mobilisation to riverine communities in the Niger Delta.The move, aimed at convincing residents of the riverine communities to choose him over his rivals, including incumbent President Bola Tinubu, makes Obi the first presidential candidate to take his campaign message to Niger Delta communities since political mobilisation commenced.
