A woman believed to be the baby mama of media personality Ngizwe Mchunu has accused him of assaulting her.

0 Image via Facebook/Ngizwe Mchunu A woman believed to be the baby mama of media personality Ngizwe Mchunu has accused him of allegedly assaulting her on 22 June 2026, which resulted in her being admitted to hospital.

It all started when maskandi artist Khuzani Mpungose shared on Facebook that the woman had reached out to him via social media, saying she had been assaulted by Mchunu.

According to Khuzani she turned to him after the police allegedly didn’t assist her with her case. She also shared a video as evidence.

A screenshot from the video shows her in a wheelchair at a hospital with a drip attached to her arm, looking visibly distraught.

The caption read: “I was heavily beaten by Ngizwe Mchunu, and my case wasn’t taken seriously and I’m also trying to get [Julius] Malema to assist me.”

In his lengthy Facebook post, Khuzani claimed that Ngizwe got wind of his involvement in the matter and assumed he persuaded the alleged baby mama to open a case against him.

However, the maskandi artist made it clear that she approached him for assistance, adding that he did not even have her contact details prior to their interaction. 

Ngizwe Mchunu has previously faced similar allegations involving his two wives, Lindi MaKhuzwayo and Floda MaMthimkhulu.

In 2019, reports emerged that the former Ukhozi FM presenter had allegedly been arrested for physically abusing MaKhuzwayo at their home in Phoenix. In 2018, MaMthimkhulu spoke out about being assaulted by Mchunu.
