Itumbi Releases List of Leaders Linked to Linda Mwananchi Movement Ahead of 2027

President William Ruto’s aide Dennis Itumbi has sparked fresh political discussion after reportedly sharing a list of leaders associated with the Linda Mwananchi movement and its agenda ahead of the 2027 General Election.

According to a post shared by Marigiri on Facebook, Itumbi released what was described as a list of leaders and details of the movement’s plans as supporters prepared for its official launch.

The post did not provide the full list of names or the complete agenda, leaving readers waiting for more details about the information reportedly shared by the presidential aide

The Linda Mwananchi movement is associated with Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna and several opposition leaders who have been engaging in political activities ahead of the next general election.

Other politicians associated with the movement include Embakasi East MP Babu Owino, Trans Nzoia Governor George Natembeya, Vihiga Senator Godfrey Osotsi, Kakamega Senator Boni Khalwale and Siaya Governor James Orengo.

In September, the movement’s leaders announced that Sifuna would serve as their preferred presidential candidate for the 2027 elections. They also expressed their intention to work with other political groups that share their stated goals.

The group has continued to attract attention as political leaders organise themselves and explore possible alliances ahead of the polls.

The reported list attributed to Itumbi has drawn attention to the political plans of the movement and the leaders associated with it.

However, the exact contents of the list and the full agenda mentioned in the Facebook post were not provided in the information available. The claims about what Itumbi released therefore require confirmation from the original statement or post.

The movement’s political activities come at a time when leaders across the country are positioning themselves for the 2027 General Election.

As the campaign period approaches, Kenyans are likely to follow developments involving political parties, possible alliances and the individuals seeking elective positions.
