“I Warned You” Millie Odhiambo Breaks Silence Hours To Sifuna’s Big Friday Event – Blames ODM
Suba North Member of Parliament Millie Odhiambo has taken to social media with a message about her changing approach to public debates as attention turns to Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna’s political plans.
In her post, Millie suggested that she was becoming more relaxed about controversial issues as she approached a new decade in her life. She also encouraged people interested in her views on current political affairs to revisit her earlier statements.
The legislator said she loved everyone and held no hatred towards anyone, adding that she was embracing a calmer attitude. Her remarks offered a glimpse into how she intends to handle public discussions going forward.
Millie has previously spoken openly about disagreements within the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM), particularly the decisions affecting Sifuna and other leaders associated with the Linda Mwananchi faction.
She had opposed efforts to remove Sifuna from his position as ODM secretary general, arguing that the party risked creating unnecessary political conflict. Her position placed her among those who questioned how the disagreements were being handled.
The dispute has continued to attract attention as ODM navigates questions about its leadership and future direction following the death of its longtime leader, Raila Odinga.
Sifuna, meanwhile, is preparing for a major political event scheduled for Friday, October 30. The occasion is expected to formalise the Linda Mwananchi Movement following its transition from The Equitable Party.
The movement has attracted interest from Kenyans watching the changing relationships among opposition politicians ahead of the 2027 General Election.
Millie’s latest post comes against this backdrop, although she has not announced that she intends to join Sifuna’s political camp. Her message therefore should not be taken as confirmation of any new political alliance.
As Friday’s event approaches, attention will remain on the movement’s plans and the positions different leaders take as political alignments continue to evolve.
