Caleb Amisi Questions Opposition Leaders for Fighting Each Other Instead of Ruto

Saboti Member of Parliament Caleb Amisi has questioned why opposition leaders appear to be fighting each other instead of focusing their efforts on President William Ruto and his government.

Amisi expressed concern over the growing disagreements among opposition politicians, raising questions about their unity as the country moves closer to the 2027 General Election.

According to the MP, opposition leaders should be working together to challenge the government rather than engaging in public arguments that could weaken their political influence.

His remarks come at a time when political discussions about possible alliances and presidential ambitions are gaining momentum. Several opposition leaders have been mentioned as potential candidates or key players in the race to challenge Ruto in the next election.

The disagreements have raised concerns among supporters who want to see a united opposition capable of presenting a strong alternative to the current administration.

Amisi’s statement suggests that internal disputes could give the ruling side an advantage if opposition politicians fail to agree on a common direction.

For many Kenyans, the main issues remain the high cost of living, unemployment, taxation and the need for better public services. Voters will be watching to see whether opposition leaders can put their differences aside and focus on these concerns.

However, bringing different political leaders together may not be easy, especially when individual ambitions and party interests come into play.

As the 2027 General Election approaches, the opposition will face the challenge of building trust among its members and agreeing on a shared political strategy.
