Bechem United Owner Donates Medical Supplies Worth Over GH¢500,000 to Two Hospitals

The owner and president of Bechem United FC, Kingsley Owusu-Achau, has donated medical supplies valued at more than GH¢500,000 to the Bechem Government Hospital and Tepa Government Hospital.

The donation, undertaken in partnership with the Diaspora Africa Forum (DAF), aims to strengthen healthcare delivery and help address shortages of essential medical supplies at the two facilities.

Owusu-Achau, popularly known in sporting circles as “Agama,” also serves as the life patron of the Ghana Premier League club.

The supplies were distributed simultaneously to the Bechem Government Hospital in the Ahafo Region and the Tepa Government Hospital in the Ashanti Region, supporting facilities that serve residents of the two towns and surrounding communities.

Management of the beneficiary hospitals welcomed the assistance, describing it as timely support for daily patient care and emergency services.

The initiative continues Owusu-Achau’s record of support for healthcare in Ghana. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he supported 16 hospitals across the Ashanti Region through an intervention coordinated via the Manhyia Palace.

The latest donation builds on those efforts to improve access to essential medical resources and support public health facilities in meeting patients’ needs.
