MTRH says 10 suspected Ebola cases tested negative

Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital (MTRH) has assured the public that it is prepared to handle suspected Ebola cases and other emerging infectious diseases after about 10 suspected cases received at the facility tested negative.Hospital Chief Executive Officer Dr Philip Kirwa disclosed the figures on Wednesday, October 28, 2026, while speaking in Eldoret during a visit by the National Assembly Departmental Committee on Health.
