“I HAVEN’T GONE UNDER THE KNIFE”— Delay Ghana Denies Undergoing BBL Surgery

Ghanaian media personality Deloris Frimpong Manso, popularly known as Delay, has dismissed suggestions that she has undergone cosmetic surgery following a social media post discussing celebrities who allegedly had Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) procedures.

In a response shared on X, Delay stated emphatically that she had not undergone surgery, writing: “I haven’t gone under the knife and I’m not a celebrity please. Thanks.”

Her comment came in response to a post by an X user, KellyAGM, who shared a thread about celebrities before and after alleged BBL surgeries.

In response, Delay seemed to disassociate herself from the conversation and deny that she had had the surgery.

In order to improve the size and form of the buttocks, BBL surgery is a cosmetic operation that includes moving fat from other body areas to the buttocks.

The treatment has garnered a lot of interest on social media, where debates about celebrities’ looks and potential cosmetic modifications are common.

The debate has been enhanced by Delay’s succinct but forthright response, which makes it apparent that she denies having had surgery.

The media personality is widely known for her work in broadcasting and for hosting The Delay Show, which has featured numerous personalities from Ghana’s entertainment industry.
