You’re Members Of APC, If I See You Working Outside APC, I’ll Collect The Vehicles From You–Uzodimma

According to a report by Premium Times on Tuesday, October 27, 2026, Hope Uzodimma, Governor of Imo State, has declared that the Rainbow Coalition Movement does not exist in the state, insisting that the All Progressives Congress (APC) remains firmly positioned to win the 2027 general elections across all elective positions in Imo State.

Uzodimma reaffirmed his confidence in the APC’s electoral prospects while addressing supporters during a political mobilisation event in Owerri, the state capital.

He maintained that the ruling party would secure victory in the state and urged members of its support groups to remain committed to the party’s political objectives ahead of the forthcoming elections.

The governor made the declaration on Tuesday during the flag-off of the PBAT Door-to-Door Movement in Imo State, where campaign vehicles were distributed to members of the group.

The movement is a political support organisation established to mobilise support for the re-election of President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 general elections.

Uzodimma, who personally handed over the campaign vehicles to the group, used the occasion to give directives on the political activities expected of its members as preparations for the next general election continue.

He instructed members of the PBAT Door-to-Door Movement to maintain their membership of the APC and concentrate their efforts on securing victory for Tinubu and other candidates contesting under the party’s platform.

He stressed that the vehicles were provided to support the party’s campaign activities and should not be used to promote political interests outside the APC.

Uzodimma also warned the group against engaging in activities that could suggest support for other political platforms, making it clear that he expected its members to work exclusively towards the success of the APC in the state.

His remarks followed his rejection of claims surrounding the Rainbow Coalition Movement in Imo State, as he reiterated his position on the party’s dominance ahead of the 2027 elections.

“You’re members of the APC. If I see you work outside the APC, I’ll collect the vehicles from you,” the governor warned.
