The Chief Executive Officer of MultiChoice Ghana, Alex Okyere, has announced new DStv subscription packages aimed at making the pay-TV service more affordable for customers, with prices starting at GH₵50 and changes scheduled to take effect on November 5.

The packages are part of the company’s effort to provide customers with more affordable subscription options while maintaining access to a range of television content.

Customers seeking premium sports and entertainment content will have the option of paying GH₵570 under the announced arrangement.

The new pricing structure provides different subscription levels, allowing viewers to select a package that matches their financial capacity and preferred content rather than paying for a higher-priced option when a lower tier meets their needs.

Okyere’s announcement comes as affordability remains an important consideration for pay-TV customers, particularly households that want to maintain access to television programmes while managing their monthly expenses.

The availability of a GH₵50 option could appeal to viewers who want a lower-cost subscription, while the GH₵100 package offers a larger channel selection for customers willing to spend more.

Football fans, meanwhile, will have the GH₵250 option to consider, while viewers interested in premium sports and entertainment can choose the GH₵570 package.
