Stop Exposing Your Pregnancy Online — Peter Anamoh Cautions Expectant Mothers

Ghanaian preacher Peter Anamoh has advised expectant mothers to be cautious about publicising their pregnancies on social media, claiming that revealing such personal information could expose their unborn children to spiritual attacks and interfere with the blessings he believes are associated with their lives.

The preacher shared his concerns in a video circulating online, where he questioned the practice of pregnant women displaying their baby bumps publicly and argued that some individuals could allegedly use spiritual means to identify the potential future of unborn children.

According to Anamoh, expectant mothers who frequently post pregnancy updates and photographs online may unknowingly expose their unborn babies to people he believes possess the ability to examine pregnancies through spiritual means.

“People are pregnant; they go and stand on social media. You are exposing that innocent baby,” he said.

He further argued that certain inventions commonly associated with the physical world originated from spiritual realities, using the telescope as an example to support his explanation.

“Deadly! Telescope did not happen in the physical world. Telescope is in the spirit before they made it in the physical,” Anamoh stated.

The preacher went on to claim that some individuals could allegedly use spiritual telescopes to examine pregnant women and determine the kind of future, influence or material prosperity their unborn children might possess.

He suggested that, according to his spiritual beliefs, such individuals could attempt to take away the blessings associated with a child before birth, leaving the baby without the potential advantages he believes the child was destined to enjoy.

“If you don’t know, some people take a telescope and look at your pregnancy and see the kind of baby you have. See how much property he is bringing. You take it from the baby, close it up and you go with an empty baby,” he said.

To reinforce his argument, Anamoh referred to the biblical account of the wise men who travelled to see Jesus following his birth, presenting them as astrologers and stargazers who could recognise the significance of a newborn child.

He questioned why the men made the journey to visit Jesus in the manger, suggesting that their knowledge enabled them to recognise the greatness associated with the child and that they had an interest in what they had discovered.

“Why do you think the wise men came to Jesus born in the manger? Why? These are astrologers and stargazers. They know everything about a newborn baby. So they saw Jesus’ greatness and they wanted to take and they couldn’t,” the preacher explained.

Anamoh further claimed that the wise men were eventually overpowered and directed to present gifts instead of taking anything away from Jesus, interpreting the biblical account as an example of the spiritual protection surrounding the child.

“It was so powerful. They were subdued and commanded to go and rather give what they have,” he added.

His remarks centre on his religious interpretation of pregnancy, spiritual vulnerability and the potential significance of an unborn child’s future, while encouraging expectant mothers to exercise discretion when sharing personal details online.

However, the claims about spiritual telescopes taking away an unborn child’s blessings or prosperity reflect the preacher’s beliefs and have not been established as scientific facts.
