Rejoin Broadbased, You’re Being Deceived By Those Around You -Barasa To Sifuna Over 2027 Ambition

Kakamega county Governor Fernandes Barasa, has today advised Nairobi City County Senator and Linda Mwananchi Party leader Edwin Sifuna to rejoin the broadbased government. He has argued that the senator is being decieved by the people who are around him claiming to be backing his 2027 presidential bid.

In his latest statement today as quoted by Kenyans.co.ke, Barasa has called upon the Linda Mwananchi leader to go back to the broadbased government and drop his presidential ambitions. Since he will not make it to the top seat and the people who are around him are playing him and cannot be trusted.

The governor has urged the senator not to be a junior partner in the opposition coalition ahead of the next year’s general elections. He added that as the broadbased government they still love him and they can support him in the future, but not in 2027 they want President William Ruto.
