“I Dare Him To Post It Again” — Vida Adutwumwaa Boateng Challenges Sarkodie Over Disability Video

According to a Post on Ghbase on Facebook Official account on Tuesday, Oct 27, 2026, Stonebwoy’s Head of Public Relations, Vida Adutwumwaa Boateng, has criticised rapper Sarkodie over a video involving a disabled man that circulated online after Stonebwoy’s OV Concert.

During an interview with DJ Slim on Class FM on October 26, 2026, Vida expressed disappointment with Sarkodie’s reported response to the controversy and dared him to share the video again.

“I dare him; he should post it again,” she stated.

However, Vida explained that she did not initially blame Sarkodie for his remarks. According to her, people without physical disabilities may struggle to understand the daily difficulties experienced by those living with disabilities.

She argued that being able to walk freely and use both hands without difficulty can make some people overlook the challenges others face.

Vida also praised Stonebwoy for helping to bring disability-related concerns into public discussions. She highlighted the difficulties encountered by Ghana’s amputee football team, the Black Challenge, and called attention to discrimination against persons with disabilities.

She noted that some entertainment venues across Ghana lack suitable facilities for wheelchair users, making it difficult for them to attend shows and enjoy performances like everyone else.

Vida further questioned why the Black Challenge receives less public attention than the Black Stars, Ghana’s senior national football team.

She revealed that some Ghanaians are unaware that the country has an amputee football team, despite the difficulties its members experience in their personal and professional lives.

According to her, these challenges deserve greater recognition and understanding from the public.

Vida maintained that discussions about disability should not focus on one viral video alone. Instead, she believes Ghanaians must promote inclusion, improve accessibility and recognise the contributions of persons with disabilities.

She urged the public to take these concerns seriously and ensure everyone receives equal respect and opportunities.
