Every PDP Member In Imo, Kwara, Gombe, Zamfara, Ogun, And All Other States Must Support Tinubu -Wike

Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, has stated that members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) across all states must support President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2027 general election, as reported by VANGUARD on Tuesday October 27 2026

Wike made the statement on Tuesday, in Rivers State during the unveiling of the Rainbow Coalition’s preferred candidates for the 2027 elections.

He said he had reached an agreement with the PDP’s National Working Committee (NWC) to ensure that party members across the country support Tinubu in the forthcoming presidential election.

Wike explained that the agreement was reached with the backing of the party’s National Working Committee, adding that the decision reflected his position as the PDP’s national leader and the support of the committee.

He further stated that PDP members in Imo, Kwara, Gombe, Zamfara, Ogun and other states were expected to mobilise support for Tinubu ahead of the 2027 general election.

According to Wike, the directive was intended to ensure that PDP members across the country support Tinubu, regardless of the state in which they belong to the party.

The FCT minister also said the Rainbow Coalition was working to bring people together across party lines in support of Tinubu’s re-election bid.

In his words, “Every PDP member in Imo State, you will support Bola Ahmed Tinubu; every PDP member in Kwara, Gombe, Zamfara, Ogun, and all other states must support Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.”
