Ghana Health Ministry Reveals Key Details for 36th-Batch Doctors and Dentists Recruitment

Ghana’s Ministry of Health will open its recruitment portal on Tuesday, October 27, 2026, for medical officers and dentists in the 36th batch who have completed their housemanship and obtained verification from the Medical and Dental Council.

In a notice issued on Monday, October 26, the Ministry said the recruitment exercise aims to address staffing shortages in health facilities across the country.

Eligible applicants are required to submit their applications through the Ministry’s official online recruitment portal at mohrecruitment.com.

Applicants must follow the prescribed procedures and indicate their preferred districts and agencies during the application process.

The portal is scheduled to open at 3:10 a.m. on Tuesday, October 27, and close on Thursday, October 29, 2026.

The Ministry has urged applicants to rely exclusively on the official recruitment platform and remain cautious of individuals who may demand money in exchange for assistance with the recruitment process.

It stressed that the exercise would be conducted transparently and warned prospective applicants against making payments at any stage of the application process.

The Ministry reiterated that recruitment would be free of charge and advised applicants to report any attempts by individuals to solicit money under the guise of facilitating their employment.
