My husband refuses to let me wash his clothes, says it will hurt my finger – Nigerian woman reveals

A happily married Nigerian woman, Joy Chinwenmeri, has revealed that her husband refuses to let her wash his clothes, saying it would injured her fingers.

Joy, who revealed this in a Facebook post on Sunday, October 25, said she can’t relate to many of the marital crisis shared on social media.

She further advised women to avoid nonchalant men. 

“I am making chicken stew in the kitchen while I watch Ai movie on my phone in the room and intermittent checking of my cooking. My husband is using the washing machine to wash our dirty clothes. He is also playing PS4 games on the TV. (I have only washed his clothes once since we got married and that’s because I forced myself to ) he doesn’t let me. He said it will wound my fingers. Awwwwn,” she wrote. 

“I don’t have to worry about my dirty clothes cos he is sorting it. He doesn’t have to worry about food cos I always do a good job in the kitchen. Life Ana aga aga.

“Marriage no suppose hard ooooo. I can’t relate to a lot of things I read here. All hands on deck ‼️will make things move faster. Who should do what , who should not. It all depends on your home. Everyone has a part to play. 

“I beseech you this new week sisters, remember to resist every affiliation with a nonchalant man this new week. Don’t entertain him. Don’t even bother to win him over or change him. If e didn’t Dey, It didn’t Dey. Challant or nothing.”

What is the big deal? Tell him to put a TV in the kitchen so you can watch while you cook. When you comes from a background where men treat women like trash, things like this go spark your head
