Kalonzo Pulls Massive Crowd in Kirinyaga as Ruto Leads ‘Tutam’ Campaign in Ukambani Ahead of 2027

Political heat has surged across the country as rival camps take their aggressive mobilization campaigns directly to contrasting regional strongholds ahead of the 2027 General Election.

According to official updates shared on social media by opposition leader Kalonzo Musyoka and President William Ruto, both leaders have staged high-profile tours to consolidate their political bases.

While Opposition Chief Kalonzo Musyoka has taken his presidential bid to Kirinyaga County, President William Ruto has simultaneously pitched camp in Kalonzo’s Ukambani home turf to champion his administration’s development record.

In Kirinyaga County, Kalonzo has drawn impressive crowds as he has traversed key centers including Mwea Ngurubani and Kiamutugu.

The Wiper party leader has expressed deep gratitude to local residents for their overwhelming reception and unwavering solidarity.

He has declared that his team has remained fully committed to uniting citizens across regions to achieve national liberation ahead of 2027.

Meanwhile, President William Ruto has intensified an extensive two-day tour across Ukambani counties, actively inspecting and launching key government projects.

Speaking to large gatherings in Kitui Town, the Head of State has heavily promoted his “Tutam” campaign, rallying voters to grant him a second term to fulfill his administration’s transformation agenda.

These simultaneous rallies have highlighted an intense political chess game unfolding early across Kenya.

By raiding each other’s perceived strongholds, both leaders have clearly signaled their intention to compete aggressively for every vote in the upcoming general election.
