Ghana records GH¢209m in cybersecurity losses in nine months

Ghana recorded an estimated GHS209.7 million in financial losses from reported cybersecurity incidents between January and September 2026, Dr Divine Selasi Agbeti, the Director-General of the Cyber Security Authority (CSA), has disclosed.He said the Authority recorded 4,938 cybersecurity incidents during the period, compared with 4,604 incidents involving reported financial losses of more than GHS22.5 million in 2025.
