3K FC, Murang’a Seal fans given strict seating rules ahead of Murima Derby

Football fans attending Sunday’s highly anticipated Murima Derby between 3K FC and Murang’a Seal have been urged to follow designated seating arrangements at Moi Stadium in Embu.

The two sides meet on Sunday, October 25, 2026, in a Football Kenya Federation Premier League clash expected to attract significant interest from supporters of the neighbouring sides.

The match will mark the first league meeting between the two sides since 3K earned their maiden promotion to the country’s top-tier league last season, with the bragging rights in the central region up for grabs.

In guidelines issued ahead of the match, the home side’s supporters (3K FC) have been allocated the northern and eastern wings of the stadium, while fans backing Murang’a Seal will occupy the southern wing.

The arrangements are intended to help organise the movement of supporters and maintain safety inside the venue as the teams prepare to battle for bragging rights in the Murima Derby.

Fans seeking VIP seating have also been given separate allocations. Supporters of 3K FC will occupy the right side of the VIP section, with those supporting Murang’a Seal assigned the left side.

Organisers have further warned fans that parking will not be permitted inside Moi Stadium, urging those attending the match to make alternative parking arrangements before arriving at the venue.

The instructions come as anticipation builds for the encounter, with supporters expected to turn out in numbers to back their respective teams in one of the notable regional rivalries on the Kenyan football calendar.

Ahead of the eagerly awaited clash, the home team will miss the services of only two of its players. Michael Owen Amwayi will be out of action as the speedy winger suffered a knock against Bandari FC in the opening 45 minutes. Initial scans showed positive results, but Owen could miss up to two weeks. In a statement on Saturday, October 24, 2026, the club said it will keep monitoring Amwayi’s progress.

Also, Kevin Wanyonyi has been out with a knee injury. He will have to undergo some scans to determine the extent of his injury. The club has confirmed that all other players are fit and in contention for Sunday.

Murang’a Seal arrive for the Sunday’s action with confidence after hammering Posta Rangers 5-1 in their last league outing, while the league newbies 3K FC come with their heads held high after forcing a 1-1 draw against Bandari FC in their away fixture played at KPA Sports Club, Mbaraki, Mombasa previously.
