When I Was In 100 Level, I Went Out With a Final Student And He Thought Me How To Smoke-Favour Omega
According to a recent video by Talk to B on Friday, October 23, 2026, recovering drug addict Favour Omega shared the harrowing story of how she was introduced to smoking while in university.
In the interview, she recounted her journey from a strict Christian upbringing to addiction, revealing that she first smoked weed on February 4, 2016, after jumping the fence to attend a collaboration at Fela’s Shrine in Lagos.
She stated that she went out with a final-year student who gave her the sense of belonging she desperately craved. “When I was in the 100 level, I went out with a final student and he taught me how to smoke,” she recalled, noting that she had previously experimented with tramadol.
Omega revealed that she was subsequently expelled from Covenant University after testing positive for marijuana, adding that her mother died hours after her first smoking experience.
She has since attended rehabilitation centers approximately five times and is now sharing her story to inspire others.
Her words: “ I went out with a boy. That boy gave me the sense of belonging I was looking for. I mean, I belonged to something. So, it was not really about the drug. He was in his final year.
