Video Of Moment Bouncers Bounced Seyi Vodi At Zlatan Ibile’s Wedding Venue Goes Viral

A video showing the moment popular Nigerian fashion designer Seyi Vodi was reportedly denied entry by bouncers at the wedding venue of singer Zlatan Ibile in Lagos has gone viral on social media, sparking reactions from fans and followers of both personalities.

The video, shared on X by The Nation newspaper on Saturday, captured the incident at the high-profile wedding, where guests from the entertainment industry and political circles gathered to celebrate with the singer and his bride.

The footage has generated questions among social media users, with some expressing surprise that Vodi, a fashion designer of international repute who was reportedly responsible for designing outfits for the couple and the general aso ebi worn by guests, could encounter difficulty gaining access to the venue.

Vodi’s reported involvement in the wedding’s fashion arrangements has further fuelled the online conversation, with followers questioning the circumstances surrounding the incident and why the designer was allegedly stopped by the security personnel.

Zlatan’s wedding, held in Lagos on Saturday, attracted several high-profile guests from Nigeria’s entertainment industry and political establishment, making it one of the widely discussed social events of the weekend.

The video has continued to attract attention online, with users sharing different opinions about the incident and calling for clarity on what transpired between the designer and the bouncers.

However, the circumstances surrounding the reported denial of entry, including whether the incident was a misunderstanding or related to the event’s access arrangements, had not been independently established as of the time of filing this report.
