UDA OFFICIAL Heckled, Forced to Cut Short Speech Amid Attempt to Read Ruto’s Condolences at a Burial

Kiminini MP Kakai Bissau was forced to cut short his speech after mourners heckled him while he attempted to read President William Ruto’s condolence message during the burial of Hon. Burudi Nabwera.

The incident unfolded as the legislator addressed mourners gathered to pay their last respects to the late Nabwera.

Tensions reportedly rose when Bissau began reading the President’s message, with sections of the crowd interrupting him and expressing their displeasure.

According to accounts from the event, some urged the MP to take the message home and read it to his own family, with the remarks further disrupting his address.

The heckling made it difficult for Bissau to continue speaking, eventually forcing him to end his address before completing his remarks.

The incident highlights the political tensions surrounding public gatherings in Trans Nzoia County, where leaders have increasingly faced vocal reactions from sections of the public during political and community events.

The burial, which brought together leaders and residents to mourn Nabwera, was overshadowed by the confrontation as the crowd’s reaction to the President’s message drew attention away from the solemn occasion.

The episode comes amid heightened political exchanges in the region, with leaders associated with President Ruto facing scrutiny and criticism from sections of the electorate.

However, the precise circumstances surrounding the heckling and the full context of the mourners’ objections would require further confirmation.
