Primate Ayodele Reveals What God Told Him Would Happen If the 2027 Election Holds on January 16
According to a report from a video shared on Facebook on October 23, 2026, Primate Elijah Ayodele, the leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, has issued warnings about the possible consequences of Nigeria’s 2027 presidential election, including the risk of violence and political instability.
Ayodele warned that three things could happen if the election proceeds as scheduled for January 16, 2027. According to the cleric, the consequences could extend beyond violence to questions about the legitimacy and performance of whoever eventually emerges as president.
“Three things will happen if the election goes ahead to be on the 16th of January. One, it will be marred with violence. Anybody elected will be the wrong person and he will not lead well,” Ayodele said.
The date mentioned by the cleric is significant because the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has scheduled the presidential and National Assembly elections for Saturday, January 16, 2027. Governorship and State Houses of Assembly elections are scheduled for February 6, 2027, according to the commission’s revised timetable.
Ayodele has previously made predictions about the 2027 election, describing it as an “election of mass destruction” and warning that several politicians and political parties could experience major setbacks. In a report published on September 24, the cleric also cautioned former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar about his political strategy and the advice he receives from people around him.
In another report published on October 12, Ayodele outlined scenarios that he believed could affect President Bola Tinubu’s chances of securing another term, including the possibility of a runoff and a disruption of the electoral process.
