NDC Mourns Kwame Dzokoto as Peter Otokunor Shares Personal Details About Their Relationship

The Spokesperson for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Congress Election Committee, Dr Peter Boamah Otokunor, has expressed deep sorrow over the death of entertainer Kwame Dzokoto, describing his passing as a painful loss to the party and the entertainment industry.

Speaking on Adom TV’s Badwam, Dr Otokunor said he was shocked by the news, having spoken with Dzokoto just two weeks before his death without noticing any indication that he was unwell.

He explained that his wife first informed him of the entertainer’s passing, prompting him to seek confirmation of the news because of their close personal relationship.

Dr Otokunor recalled that Dzokoto had served as the master of ceremonies at his wedding, highlighting the personal bond they shared over the years.

He described the circumstances surrounding the entertainer’s death as particularly heartbreaking, noting that Dzokoto had remained active in the work he was passionate about.

“I heard from him two weeks ago, so I went to verify if indeed he had passed on. He died like a soldier; he died in the line of duty, doing what he loves to do most. I think that’s what God wants, and I believe he is very fulfilled wherever he is,” he said.

The NDC official also paid tribute to Dzokoto’s talent and creativity, stressing that his death represented a significant loss to the party.

He noted that the late entertainer had made valuable contributions through his work and involvement in the party’s activities.

Dr Otokunor extended his condolences to Dzokoto’s bereaved family and urged the public and party faithful to remember him for his contributions to Ghanaian society and the NDC.
