He Ate A Lot On Edzibana And It Showed On His Body – Maame Dokono On Kwame Dzokoto’s Death
Veteran Ghanaian actress Maame Dokono has spoken about the death of actor and comedian Kwame Dzokoto, and her words are full of memories and advice.
Kwame Dzokoto, popularly known as Judge Koboo from Efiewura, reportedly died on Thursday, October 22, at age 51 after collapsing during a live panel discussion on Owass FM in Tarkwa.
His death has shocked Ghana and brought many tributes from actors, politicians and fans.
In an interview with Bessa GH, Maame Dokono remembered his days as the host of the popular TV food show, Edzibana.
She said Kwame Dzokoto ate a lot while hosting the show, and that affected his physical appearance and health.
According to her, the show made him eat plenty of food on camera every time, and over time, it started to show on his body.
She did not say it to insult him. She said it with concern, as an elderly mother advising the young ones.
She used the moment to warn Ghanaians to be careful about what they eat and how much they eat.
“Be careful about what you eat,” she advised. “Food can affect your health if you don’t control it.”
Maame Dokono ended by praying for him to rest in peace.
Kwame Dzokoto’s death has reminded many Ghanaians of the joy he brought on TV – from Edzibana to Efiewura. And Maame Dokono’s tribute is both a goodbye to a colleague and a warning to the living.
