Ghana Police Is Giving Out A Cool GHC 1million If You Can Help Them Arrest This Guy
Fear has reportedly spread across parts of the Upper East Region as the Ghana Police Service continues a major operation to locate Mark Agingre, a Binduri resident accused of being linked to a number of deadly attacks.
Ghbase News reports that the police have placed a ₵1 million reward on credible information that results in the arrest of the wanted man.
According to preliminary police investigations, Agingre may have connections to several violent incidents, including at least two attacks in which multiple people lost their lives. Some of the victims were reportedly children, adding to the concern surrounding the cases.
One of the attacks occurred on November 7, 2025, when a family was reportedly targeted in a violent incident. The father, mother and three children died, while another child survived the attack and was said to be in critical condition at the Bolgatanga Government Hospital.
Police investigations are also examining an earlier incident recorded on October 27, 2025. On that occasion, the bodies of an elderly man and his two children were reportedly discovered in Binduri. Investigators have identified similarities between the two incidents, raising suspicions that they could have been carried out by the same person.
Authorities say the evidence so far suggests a troubling pattern of deliberate killings. Special police units and intelligence personnel have consequently been deployed to assist with the search, particularly across communities in the northern corridor.
The police have appealed to anyone with useful information about Agingre’s location to come forward by calling 191 or 18555. They have assured members of the public that information provided will be treated confidentially.
Residents have meanwhile been advised to exercise caution and avoid confronting the suspect if they encounter him, as he is considered dangerous.
The ongoing manhunt has increased anxiety in Binduri and surrounding communities. Police have urged residents to remain alert while assuring the public that efforts are underway to apprehend the suspect and ensure that the appropriate legal process follows.
