SASSA beneficiaries: Early November payment date check
SASSA beneficiaries: Early November payment date check
November is approaching, and beneficiaries can check the official payment schedule early.
The 2026/27 SASSA schedule confirms that November payments are arranged as follows:
The Department of Social Development says SASSA continues to use a staggered payment system, with older persons generally paid first, followed by persons with disabilities and then children’s grants.
Grant values were also updated from April 2026. The Older Persons, Disability and Care Dependency Grants are R2,400, while the Child Support Grant is R580.
Beneficiaries should keep their payment date in mind and use the official schedule when planning around payday. If a payment problem occurs, SASSA advises beneficiaries to report the issue at their nearest SASSA office.
The staggered approach reduces long queues and improves efficiency. Rely only on the date that matches your own grant category. Before travelling to a pay point or retail partner, confirm that funds have been loaded. Official channels for balance checks include the SASSA website at sassa.gov.za and the toll-free helpline 0800 60 10 11. Beneficiaries may also visit their nearest SASSA office for further assistance.
If a grant does not reflect on the scheduled date, allow a short period for banking updates and then contact SASSA through official channels only. Planning household expenses around the confirmed payment date makes the monthly cycle more predictable. Keeping a note of the exact date for your grant type remains one of the simplest ways to stay prepared.
These dates form part of the official 2026/27 payment calendar released by the Department of Social Development.
