Ouaddou Fires Back at Ncikazi Fallout Reports: “You Cannot Start to Invent Any Stories”

Orlando Pirates head coach Abdeslam Ouaddou has dismissed reports suggesting that he has fallen out with assistant coach Mandla Ncikazi, insisting that people should not draw conclusions or create stories without sufficient evidence.

The speculation has attracted attention among supporters of the Soweto giants, with questions being raised about the relationship between the two members of the club’s technical team.

However, Ouaddou has challenged the claims, arguing that ordinary interactions between colleagues should not be interpreted as signs of conflict. The Moroccan tactician believes that certain situations are being taken out of context to create unnecessary controversy.

“Someone who is kissing someone’s head – you cannot start to invent any stories,” Ouaddou said.

His comments appear to be a direct response to the rumours surrounding his working relationship with Ncikazi. By addressing the matter publicly, the Pirates coach has made it clear that he does not agree with attempts to portray their relationship negatively without concrete evidence.

Ncikazi remains an important member of the Pirates coaching staff, having played a significant role in the club’s technical setup. Naturally, the relationship between the two coaches has attracted interest as supporters follow the team’s progress in domestic competitions.

Given Pirates’ popularity and history in South African football, reports involving the club’s coaching staff can quickly generate debate among fans.

Nevertheless, Ouaddou’s response serves as a reminder that speculation should not automatically be treated as fact. Although his remarks firmly reject the suggestion of a fallout, they do not independently confirm every detail surrounding the reports.

For now, the Pirates coach has made his position clear, urging people not to manufacture conflict based on ordinary interactions. Attention will remain on the club’s performances as the Buccaneers continue their campaign.
