DCP Announces Their First Mega Rally After Gachagua’s Silent Return From US

The Democracy for the Citizens Party (DCP) has announced its first mega rally in Nyahururu Town following party leader Rigathi Gachagua’s return to Kenya from the United States.

In a poster released by the party, DCP Secretary General and Nyandarua Senator John Methu is scheduled to lead the party’s team in a mega rally on Sunday, October 25, 2026.

The rally will take place at Total Petrol Station in Nyahururu Town, starting at 3pm, according to the announcement.

The planned gathering comes as DCP continues its grassroots mobilisation efforts ahead of the 2027 General Election, with party leaders seeking to strengthen their presence across the Mt Kenya region.

Methu is expected to lead the delegation at the event, although the party’s announcement does not provide a complete list of leaders expected to attend.

Gachagua’s return from the US comes as the opposition leader continues to navigate Kenya’s shifting political landscape, with attention turning to his party’s next public engagements.

The Nyahururu rally is expected to give DCP leaders an opportunity to address supporters and communicate the party’s agenda as political activity gathers momentum ahead of the next general election.

However, the poster does not confirm whether Gachagua will personally attend the rally.
