The Springboks return to international action in November, meaning the URC’s domestic teams could be forced to adapt.

The Nations Championship, meanwhile, begins again in the first week of November.
Could Springboks call-ups affect domestic teams vying for the URC trophy this season?
Technically, the domestic and international competitions never overlap.
The URC pauses on 31 October, according to the tournament website, before returning with the sixth round from 4 December.
Meanwhile, the Nations Championship website confirms it resumes on 6 November and ends with the final on 29 November.
While these dates do not intersect, international duty can still have a major impact on the domestic teams.
The Springboks will not have a training camp before the Test against Italy on 7 November.
This means players may head to Turin straight from their URC teams, who are in action at home and abroad.
The Sharks and Lions, in particular, will still be on their European legs of the campaign.
The #Springboks' season is not done and according to Paul de Villiers, they are already looking ahead to Europe in a few weeks' time – more here: https://t.co/9Tmu2aTGVe #ForeverGreenForeverGold pic.twitter.com/jS0dt9ut9G
The pressure may actually come at the end of the Nations Championship cycle.
Springboks players will be in London for the final round and need time to rest before returning for their franchises.
Round 6 of the URC gets underway a few days later, followed by Champions Cup and Challenge Cup fixtures.
This means coaches are likely to rotate their squads to compensate for the lack of Springboks at their disposal.
We’ve already seen this, with Siya Kolisi sitting out the Test against Australia and only debuting for the Stormers in the URC a week later.
This approach is likely to be adopted by the other South African franchises too.
In terms of fixtures, the overlap between the Nations Championship and the URC is minimal.
Instead, the effect is likely to come in the aftermath of the Springboks fighting for another piece of silverware.
