Wamunyinyi quits DAP-K deputy party leader role, joins Sifuna’s Linda Mwananchi

Former Kanduyi Member of Parliament Wafula Wamunyinyi has announced his decision to relinquish his position as Deputy Party Leader of the Democratic Action Party of Kenya (DAP-K) and align himself with Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna’s Linda Mwananchi movement ahead of the 2027 General Election.In a statement, Wamunyinyi said his decision followed days of reflection and consultations with voters, adding that he had chosen to work alongside Sifuna, whom he described as a voice for ordinary Kenyans.
