Shatta Wale donates to family of police officer who died en route to ShattaFest

Dancehall star Shatta Wale has extended a helping hand to the family of a police officer who died in an accident while travelling to perform his security duties during the ShattaFest Accra event.

The musician directed Ralph De FellowGhanaian, Long Jon, Jerome Nii Kpakpo Acquaye, Larbiano and other members of his team to visit the bereaved family and make a financial donation to support them.

During the visit, the team presented an envelope containing GHS 20,000 cash intended to help cater for the needs of Officer Prince Adu’s surviving children.

Beyond the immediate financial support, Shatta Wale has pledged to do more for the family, signalling his intention to continue supporting the children as they navigate life without their father.

The gesture has added a compassionate dimension to the conversation surrounding the festival, highlighting the human cost of the tragedy and the needs of the family left behind.

For the bereaved family, the donation offers some support at a difficult time, particularly in helping to provide for the children whose future has been affected by the loss.
