‘My fans won’t forgive you’ – Shatta Wale replies Slim Buster again

Shatta Wale has a message for Slim Buster: he has no beef with the veteran musician, but his fans may not be as forgiving.

The dancehall star has responded to Slim Buster’s recent interview, in which he made some comparisons between them, and pointed out what he believes is toxicity from the Shatta Movement camp.

In the interview, Slim Buster chided social media users who compare him with younger artistes, particularly Shatta Wale, insisting that he is more hardworking, richer and more handsome than Shatta Wale.

His remarks have got the attention of Dancehall King who advised him not to engage his brand in any controversy in a bd to revive his ailing career.

Shatta Wale said he had no reason to fight Slim Buster and urged him not to allow social media narratives to create unnecessary misunderstandings between them.

“Slim Buster, please, you know very well that I would never disrespect you. In fact, I am quite shocked at how you are allowing certain things happening on the internet to get to you. Whatever anyone may have told you might have triggered your decision to engage in these online battles with the fans. But I want you to understand one thing from today: I will never come at you with disrespect or hostility.” Shatta Wale wrote.

While Shatta Wale has no interest in deepening the tension, he warned Slim Buster not to get on the bad side of the SM fans with his constant poking, as they may not be as forgiving.

“My fans are loyal and won’t forgive you since they never heard or saw me come at you. Instead, I would sincerely plead with you to stop treating me as though I started this whole situation,” he added.

He urged the veteran musician to understand how the internet works and to avoid responding to every provocation, since not every comment deserves a reaction.

Shatta Wale maintained that his message was not an attempt to chase online trends but a genuine appeal from a younger musician to someone he considers a senior colleague.
