GTA VI’s Latest Trailer Has Some Seriously Cool Cars Hiding In Plain Sight
Image Credit: Rockstar Games. After years of anticipation and several delays, Grand Theft Auto VI is finally approaching its scheduled release. Rockstar Games has released another trailer ahead of the November 19, 2026, launch, and there's plenty for car enthusiasts to get excited about.
The latest footage offers another look at the fictional state of Leonida, including the neon-soaked streets of Vice City. While the trailer focuses on protagonists Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos, the vehicles appearing throughout are equally interesting.
As usual, Rockstar has avoided using real-world automotive badges, instead creating fictional vehicles inspired by familiar production models. That hasn't stopped fans from identifying some recognizable designs.
From classic American muscle cars to Japanese performance icons and European exotics, the trailer suggests GTA VI will offer an impressive automotive lineup. It also hints at the kind of chaotic driving and street racing that have become trademarks of the series.
The trailer opens with a bright green lowrider featuring spiderweb-inspired paintwork. Its styling appears to draw inspiration from classic Chevrolet Impalas, fitting perfectly with Vice City's custom-car culture.
Another scene features a coupe resembling the Nissan Skyline R33, while Jason and Lucia are shown leaning against a modified muscle car reminiscent of a Chevrolet Camaro. A pickup resembling a Ford Ranger also appears during an especially ambitious stunt involving an aircraft.
None of these vehicles carries an official real-world badge, so their identities are visual comparisons rather than confirmed licensed models. Still, the resemblance to their real-world counterparts is difficult to miss.
One particularly eye-catching sequence features a lime-green hypercar resembling the Bugatti Veyron being pursued by police. The patrol vehicles appear inspired by Ford's Explorer and Taurus police interceptors.
The trailer also offers a glimpse of nighttime street racing, with several exotic cars speeding through the city. Among them is a yellow supercar that bears a strong resemblance to the Lamborghini Diablo.
Motorcycles, helicopters, and aircraft feature in the action as well, suggesting players will have plenty of opportunities to cause trouble beyond the city's roads.
Despite the abundance of vehicles, the approximately 90-second trailer reveals relatively little about the game's actual driving mechanics. Most of the footage is cinematic, with Rockstar keeping detailed gameplay information under wraps.
Earlier promotional material has hinted at organized racing activities, potentially giving car enthusiasts additional ways to enjoy the game's vehicle collection. However, the full extent of its customization and racing features is still unknown.
Grand Theft Auto VI is scheduled to launch on November 19, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. A PC release date has not yet been announced.
With just a month to go, the latest trailer provides another tantalizing look at what could be one of gaming's most entertaining virtual automotive playgrounds.
