Cocaine consignment worth Ksh2.19M intercepted at Malaba border

Detectives have intercepted a cocaine consignment valued at Ksh2.19 million at the Malaba One-Stop Border Post (OSBP), with one person of interest arrested as investigations into a drug trafficking operation continue.In a statement shared by the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) on Wednesday, October 21, 2026. said the consignment was discovered during routine passenger and luggage screening aboard a Simba Coach bus travelling from Kampala to Nairobi.
