Benjamin Danso pays courtesy call on Ga-Dangbe overlord after successful vetting

National Democratic Congress (NDC) Greater Accra Regional Chairmanship aspirant, Benjamin Danso, has paid a courtesy call on the Nuumo Gborbu Wulomo-Shitse, the Overlord of the Ga-Dangbe State, following his successful vetting for the Greater Accra Regional Chairmanship position.

The visit formed part of Mr Danso’s ongoing engagements with key stakeholders across the Greater Accra Region as he seeks to lead the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the region.

During the meeting, Mr Danso formally informed the Ga-Dangbe Overlord about the steps he has taken towards his candidacy and shared his position on the ballot ahead of the party’s regional elections.

He also used the occasion to update the traditional leader on his journey so far and to pay his respects, describing the engagement as an important part of his stakeholder consultations across the region.

Benjamin Danso has been assigned Number 4 on the ballot paper for the Greater Accra Regional Chairmanship contest.

The aspirant is campaigning on what he describes as a fresh, youthful and forward-looking approach to party leadership, with a focus on strengthening the NDC’s structures and positioning the party for greater success in the region.

Mr Danso says he is confident in his ability to lead the party and has expressed his determination to secure victory in the upcoming contest.

His engagement with traditional and other stakeholders forms part of efforts to build broader support as the race for the NDC Greater Accra Regional Chairmanship gathers momentum.
