Why I Don’t Answer Calls and Messages – Sarkodie

Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie has sparked conversations about his communication habits following comments about why he does not always respond to phone calls and messages.

The award-winning musician, widely regarded as one of Africa’s most successful rappers, is known for maintaining a busy schedule due to his music career, business activities and other professional commitments.

Sarkodie’s reported remarks about not answering calls and messages have drawn attention to the challenges that come with being a public figure. As one of Ghana’s most recognised entertainers, he is likely to receive numerous calls and messages from friends, colleagues, business associates and fans seeking his attention.

For celebrities who constantly deal with public demands, managing personal relationships alongside professional responsibilities can sometimes be difficult. Not every call can be answered immediately, and some messages may remain unread or unanswered for extended periods.

Sarkodie has built a strong reputation in the Ghanaian music industry through his lyrical ability, consistency and contributions to hip-hop and hiplife. His career has also brought him into contact with numerous personalities across the entertainment industry and beyond.

Although the exact reason behind his reported explanation has not been established from the information provided, the topic has raised questions about how celebrities manage communication and protect their personal time.

The rapper’s comments may also resonate with individuals who prefer to limit phone conversations or respond to messages when they have the time and energy to do so.

What do you think about Sarkodie’s approach to answering calls and messages? Is it understandable for a busy celebrity to be selective about communication?
