Rivers: Fubara’s factional Assembly Speaker finally joins Wike’s Rainbow Coalition

Factional Speaker of the Rivers State House of Assembly during the prolonged political crisis in the state, Hon. Victor Oko-Jumbo, has aligned with the Rainbow Coalition, a multi-party political group formed by the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike.DAILY POST reports that Oko-Jumbo emerged as a factional Speaker on May 8, 2024, following the political face-off between Governor Siminalayi Fubara and the FCT Minister.
